All other dogs, regardless of age = $400
All dogs 9 years of age or older will be adopted to senior citizens (people 70 years +) at no charge

All applications require a $20 nonrefundable application fee. You must be 21 years of age to complete an application. Great Pyrenees Rescue Atlanta requires all family members (human and canine) meet the orphan(s) being considered. Great Pyrenees Rescue Atlanta, Inc. strongly recommends adequate fencing especially for all homes with children under 6 years old. Invisible fencing is acceptable for some dogs and not for others. The Great Pyrenees Rescue Atlanta Board of Directors reserves the right to decline placement of a dog who is not a good candidate for an invisible fence into a home with such fencing. Acceptable invisible fencing includes the Invisible Fence brand by Pet Safe - and Dog Watch Hidden Fence brand - In addition, the Great Pyrenees Rescue Atlanta Board of Directors reserves the right to require standard fencing for certain dogs in the program regardless of whether there are children in the home or not.

Adopted GPs must wear a collar and ID tags (including an Great Pyrenees Rescue Atlanta tag) at all times. Retractable leashes are prohibited for Great Pyrenees Rescue Atlanta dogs. These leashes have proven dangerous to humans and dogs.
